About Us
Plough Green is a well-established local Pre-school registered with Ofsted, are members of the Early Years Learning
Alliance and are a registered charity.
We aim to
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum leading to approved learning outcomes where learning
through play is fun. Our adult to child ratio ensures care and attention for each child whilst having fun and making
new friends.
At Plough Green we have a dedicated SENCO who ensures that children who require additional support receive the
care they need.
Every child has an on-line Learning Journal where we record capture their early education and development
experiences. Over time it will tell you a story about your child’s learning, friends and the activities they enjoy
sharing with others.
We start the day at 9am. During the morning all children access both structured and child-led activities . We have
snack time during the morning and afternoon where children help themselves to fruit and a drink (water is always
available during the day). We also have plenty of opportunity to explore outside.
